Founded in the early 18th century and now led by Delphine Vesselle and her husband David, the estate epitomises the essence of récoltant-manipulant craftsmanship, overseeing every stage of production from vine to bottle. Renowned for its devotion to Pinot Noir, which claims 90% of the domaine's 17 hectares of vineyards, the domaine crafts Champagne that balances the robust power of Bouzy with finesse, earning acclaim as some of the region’s most eloquent Blanc de Noirs expressions.

Terroir and Sustainability
The Vesselle family’s vineyards span the revered Grand Cru villages of Bouzy and Chouilly, alongside parcels in Loches-sur-Ource. Their prized Petit Clos, a quarter-acre walled vineyard adjacent to the winery, yields one of Champagne’s rarest cuvées - a pure Pinot Noir aged for over a decade in bottle. Committed to the environment, the domaine transitioned to organic practices in 2020, eliminated herbicides in 1995, and employs sustainable methods such as sexual confusion for pest control and horse-plowing in select plots. Certified Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE), the domaine also utilises solar energy and rainwater recycling, reflecting a holistic approach to viticulture.

Winemaking Philosophy
Delphine Vesselle reintroduced traditional techniques such as oak barrel fermentation and extended lees aging, defying modern trends to preserve the authenticity of her wines. The portfolio includes 17 cuvées, ranging from the non-dosage Brut Nature L’Expression Nature, a vibrant blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay; to the historic Oeil de Perdrix, a pale salmon-hued rosé crafted via saignée method, reviving a 19th-century Bouzy tradition. The flagship Brut Réserve, aged three years on lees, showcases red apple, wildflower, and mineral notes, epitomising the estate’s balance of power and elegance. Beyond sparkling wines, the domaine produces still wines under the Coteaux Champenois appellation, including the delicate Bouzy Rouge and nutty Bouzy Blanc, alongside the fortified Ratafia de Champagne.
