We are happy to introduce Le Guaite di Noemi, the most exciting female winemaker in Italy!

Noemi Pizzighella has been working at her family's vineyards since she was 8 years old. She took over the estate when she was only 22 years old in 2016. Located in the Mezzane di Sotto subregion of Valpolicella, her vineyards are next to those from Dal Forno Romano, who is the winemaking mentor of Noemi. "Le Guaite" is a special hill of the area benefits from the microclimate of Lake Garda, and the northern Alpine currents contribute to create the thermal shock. These are all important elements for the inimitable character of the fruit.

Noemi chooses to release her wines only when they are ready. Therefore, 2010 and 2011 are the current releases from the estate. She also uses a large than normal percentage of Rondinella and Corvinone in her blends, the Rondinella adding lovely herbaceous notes and Corvinone tannin structure to the wines.
