Collection: Domaine Pichat, Côte-Rôtie

Côte-Rôtie is mainly farmed by small families, and Domaine Pichat makes only 25,000 bottles of top class Côte-Rôtie wines per year from northern schist soils. All wines, including their "basic" Viognier and Syrah comes from their Côte-Rôtie vineyards. Les Grandes Places, one of the best vineyards in Côte-Rôtie, is a steep, rocky and windy vineyard which is rich in mica-schist with iron elements in the soil. The vineyard is south-east facing, ideal for producing full flavoured wine with good freshness.
