Grape: Falanghina
Campi Flegrei (Phlegrean Fields) is a 13km wide nested caldera located under the western outskits of the city of Naples. It contains many volcanic centers. Because of the volcanic soil, this is a Grand Cru area for Piedirosso, where the best wines are from vines grown on ungrafted rootstock.
