Collection: Jérémy Recchione

Jeremy Recchione started his adventure in Burgundy by working first for Sylvain Cholet (Meursault) and Domaine Pierre Naigeon (Gevrey Chambertin). It is at Domaine Naigeon where he met his friend and mentor Mark Haisma (former winemaker of Yarra Yerring in Australia, now world-famous Burgundy winemaker).

Jeremy started his own micro-winery in 2013, producing only only 5,000 bottles of wine. He likes to work mainly with whole-clusters as he likes "the profile and the mix of freshness and structure that the stems can bring".  2-3 weeks fermentation, only pieage but no remontage (pump over). Natural yeast and no heating during fermentation, all wines are unfiltered and unfined with no additions of sugar or acid. Bottling is done in accordance with moon cycles with minimal sulfite addition.

Wine by Jeremy Rechhione are a breath of fresh air in the region. They proof that with talent and imagination, a hardworking newcomer can still be successful and make his name in the most prestige wine region in the world!
