Collection: Galicia: Corisca, Rias Baixas

Corisca the first winery in Rias Baixas region to switch to organic viticulture and they are one of the few certified organic winery in the entire Galicia.

Albarino is indigenous to Galicia at the northwestern corner of the Iberian Peninsula. It is a thick skin grape and wines are mineral with bright acidity, and display floral aromatics coupled with flavours of peach, apricot and grapefruit.

The winery Corisca only makes wine from Albarino. It is located in the Condado do Tea subzone of Rias Baixas. This is the most continental and warmest region of the five sub-zones. Winemaking is traditionalist, the regular Albarino aged 3 months on lees, and Finca do Muino from old vines aged 12 months on lees.
