Bettane & Desseauve, 93/100: Salin et tres fin, belle energie, beau style, long. (Translation: minerals, and very fine. Lively energy, beautiful style, long finish)

Decanter.com, 16.75/20: Fine fresh nose and fine slightly honeyed fruit precision, lift and length. Drink : 2015-2020. Steven Spurrier.

Jancis Robinson MW, 17/20: (2012 vintage) Tasted blind. Relatively deep lemon colour. Sappy, exciting nerve in the vegetal spectrum with a hint of matchstick. Delicate and racy. Very nice light hand here resulting in a really nervy wine. (This also did well in 2011.) Non clarified. Super reductive; Coche Dury in Bordeaux! Lots of richness plus vitality. I bet there will be more wines like this in Bordeaux in future. Fun and satisfying, both rich and racy. Nervy. Muscular, great stuff. So long.

Vine age: average 35 years old, some planted before 1892 - Pre-Phylloxera
Soil: clayey-calcareous and gravel
Grape: Sauvignon Blanc 60%, Semillon 40%
