Barbaresco DOCG Paje, Roagna, Piedmont, 2007
Very floral, earthy aromas with hints of truffles. Big, ripe berry flavors. Surprisingly fresh for this hot vintage, with teeth-coating but fully ripe tannins. An excellent 2007. - Kerin O'Keefe
DECO Tasting Note: Being "just" a Barbaresco Paje, it is quite ready to drink even once opened. The full impression is a strong wine with relative amount of tannin, powerful nose of dried rose petals. A rather "modern" style wine. In the second day, the wine is softened. It starts to show its elegance and roundness, the style is more "traditional" in comparison with first day. Very fine and well structured body, exceptional floral nose.
